Tucked away in the Sierra del Fraile conservation area of Mexico sits one of the most sought after climbing destinations on this side of the Atlantic,
El Potrero Chico.
The massive limestone cliffs overlook the small town of Hidalgo and are home to some of the best multi pitch sport climbing in the world. All you need is a rack of quickdraws and an adventurous spirt to go and conquer these massive monoliths.
This trip is the perfect international climbing trip to hone in on your personal multi pitch and lead climbing skills under highly qualified and certified guides. With low ratio to guide groups, we can focus on building your skill level to create competent outdoor lead climbers and multi pitch rock climbers!

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Monterrey International Airport where we will arrange a taxi to pick you up and take you to our private Airbnb at the foot of the climbing area!
Day 2: Go Climbing! This is the first day of the trip and it’s all about getting familiar with the rock. Routes such as Supernova, Will The Wolf Survive, cragging in the Virgin Canyon or any of the other classic multi pitches in the area are a great choice to warm up!
Day 3: After getting acquainted with the rock, this is a great day to tackle some of the longer routes or more difficult routes!
Day 4: Optional Rest Day, Systems/ Lead mentorship day or keep getting after the big stuff!
Day 5: Time to step it up! After the first three day initiation part of the trip, it’s time to tackle some of the longer, more challenging routes in the area or choose a student lead objective and lead a route!
Day 6: We’ll finish off the trip with more climbing or instructional courses and we’ll end our trip with a celebratory dinner and drinks for our last night together!
Day 7: Shuttle back to Monterrey and fly out!
